Text Messaging Opt-In
CC Shirt Factory is a custom apparel shop in Austin, TX. We send conversational text messages from (737) 400-0398 to customers about their shirt orders — never marketing blasts. This page documents exactly how someone ends up receiving a text from us, and how they stop.
How customers opt in
We only text people who gave us their phone number themselves, one of three ways:
1. Our website quote form. A customer builds an order at ccshirtfactory.com/quote and enters their phone number. Next to the phone field is an optional consent checkbox — unchecked by default, never required, and recorded with the order:
“I'd like updates about my order by text. CC Shirt Factory will text you about your quote and order — artwork confirmations, pricing, and pickup or delivery updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for help; opt out anytime by replying STOP. See our Privacy Policy.”
Team-store checkouts collect an optional phone number with the same disclosures — providing the number is the opt-in.
2. Texting us first. Customers text (737) 400-0398directly (the number is on our site and materials). Messaging us initiates the conversation they're opting into.
3. Verbal consent in person or by phone. When taking an order face-to-face or on a call, we ask:
“Is it OK if we text you at this number about your order — the quote, artwork confirmation, and pickup updates? Message frequency varies by order, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP anytime to opt out. Our privacy policy is at ccshirtfactory.com/privacy.”
We proceed only after a clear yes, and note the consent on the order.
What we send
Order-related messages only: quote details and pricing, artwork confirmations, production updates, and pickup or delivery coordination. Message frequency varies with the order — a typical order involves a handful of texts over one to two weeks. We do not send promotional campaigns, and we never text anyone who hasn't contacted us about an order.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at howdy@ccshirtfactory.com. Message and data rates may apply. Opting out never affects an order — we switch to email or a phone call.
No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third parties. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
